The NAIC is a crucial resource for insurance carrier code lookups. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) assigns a unique code to each insurance carrier in the United States.

These codes are used to identify insurance carriers and facilitate the exchange of information between states. The NAIC code is a 5-digit code that is specific to each carrier.

To find an insurance carrier's NAIC code, you can visit the NAIC website or use a lookup tool. This will give you the code and other relevant information about the carrier.

For example, the NAIC code for State Farm is 21113.
