Does My Child Need Orthodontic Treatment?
To determine if your child needs orthodontic treatment, it's essential to schedule an initial orthodontic consultation. This complimentary consultation will help you understand whether your child qualifies for treatment.
You'll need to visit our orthodontic office for the consultation, where our orthodontist will evaluate your child and decide if they qualify to have their records submitted for pre-approval.
Our initial consultation and necessary records are free of charge. Once the case is submitted, it typically takes 3-4 weeks for the Public Aid administrator to review and make a decision.
If your child qualifies, our staff will take the necessary records and submit them to the Public Aid administrators (DentaQuest).

When Will Braces/Aligners Be Provided?
Braces or aligners will be applied or provided at a scheduled appointment after the diagnostic step is complete.
Sometimes, braces can be applied during the same visit as the diagnostic appointment.
It can take approximately four weeks for aligners to arrive if they're chosen, as they need to be fabricated in a lab and then sent to the dentist's office.
