To check your payment status, you'll need to access the payment portal or platform where you initiated the payment. This can be done through a website, mobile app, or by contacting the service provider directly.

First, gather the necessary information such as your payment reference number, account details, or order number. This will help you locate your payment in the system.

Next, log in to the payment portal or platform using your credentials, such as username and password. Make sure you have the correct login information to avoid any issues.

Once logged in, navigate to the payment status section, where you can view the current status of your payment. This may include options to view payment history or track the payment process.

Understanding Payment Status

Payment status can be a bit confusing, especially when dealing with complex systems. The status of a payment can change over time, and it's essential to understand what each status means.

The payment resource may exist in different states according to the progress of the transaction. There are several possible statuses, including initiated, cancelled, authorisation_failed, executing, rejected, and executed.

If you're trying to check the payment status, you can poll the payment resource to see if the status has been modified. This allows you to know if the payment was successful or not.

Here are some common payment statuses and what they mean:

It's also important to note that after a payment has been executed, it may take some time for it to be settled.

Getting Started

To get started with checking your payment status, you'll first need to access the IUIE PDP Disbursement (Check) Status Report. This can be done by visiting the IU Check Status – IUIE Report One.IU task tile and clicking the heart icon to favorite it for later.

You'll need basic user access to use the report, so be sure to click here to visit the Knowledge Base and learn how to gain IUIE access if you haven't already.

Before you begin, it's a good idea to locate the check number, which can be found on the payment details page. You can visit one of the following pages to learn how to locate payment details in that system.

To start, enter the check number in the Disbursement/Check Number field at the top of the page, or use the Customer Payment Document Number field if you have a BUY.IU or Emburse Enterprise document number.

You can also select the columns you want to return by scrolling down the page and choosing from the radio buttons next to All Columns or the columns you want to return. Don't forget to toggle the Maximum Number of Rows to Return to No Limit if you're expecting a large amount of data.

Here are the steps to follow:

  • Enter the check number or customer payment document number
  • Select the columns you want to return
  • Toggle the Maximum Number of Rows to Return to No Limit if necessary
