Why Is Seluvis Dead Elden Ring?

Seluvis is the manipulative schemer in charge of Ranni’s forces on Elden Ring. He is a dangerous opponent, and must be dealt with carefully. He plays an important role in the story, so it’s best to find and stop him as soon as possible.

Well, Seluvis may have sinister intentions if it's clear that he knows about the Elden Ring and its potential power. He may also feel like he can benefit from whatever hijinks the player gets up to with the potion, so disposing of it would be in his best interests.

The Seluvis Flask gives the player an ability to see echoes of people and places. When used in a specific quest, this can help the player progress through it. For example, it is used for the side quest "The Missing Blade" which tasks the player with finding five blades that have been stolen from the local armory. By looking at the echoes of these blades, the player can help guide them to where they are hidden. If this sidequest is not completed, then speaking to Seluvis again after completing it will result in him giving them a warning about potential consequences should they pursue this particular line of inquiry any further. Depending on how the player chooses to respond, this may cause issues such as disrupting later conversations or even ruining key pieces of evidence needed for other quests.

Seduvis, also known as Seluvis the Schemer, is one of Lunar Princess Ranni's vassals. He resides at Seluvis's Rise, just next to Ranni's Rise.

The arrogant sorcerer Preceptor Seluvis is located in the Blackmist Region of The Elder Scrolls Online. Players will find him near the entrance to Ranni the Witch’s Hut on the map.
