I didn't know who you were, but for some reason, I felt drawn to you. I decided to follow you and see where you were going.

As I followed you, I could tell that you were headed towards my neighborhood. I started to get a bit nervous, wondering if you were going to try to break into one of the homes. But then I saw you turn and walk up to my house. You stood there for a moment, looking at it, and then you reached out and rang the doorbell.

I was standing behind you, not sure what to do. I didn't want to scare you off, but I also didn't want to let you into my house without knowing who you were. Finally, I decided to just introduce myself.

I came up and stood next to you, and I said, "Hello. My name is Alex. What made you decide to come to my house?"

You turned and looked at me, and I could see the surprise in your eyes. But then you smiled, and I felt my heart melt.

"I don't know," you said. "I just felt like I needed to come here. I'm sorry if I'm intruding."

"It's okay," I said. "Come on in. I'll make us some tea."

And that's how you ended up at my house that night. I never did find out why you came, but I'm glad you did. It was the start of a beautiful friendship.

I hope that we can patch things up and be friends again.

When I came to your house, I had several goals and objectives in mind. First and foremost, I wanted to get to know you and your family better. I felt that I had been away from home for too long and needed to reconnect with my roots. Additionally, I wanted to learn more about your culture and how you live your everyday lives.

Another goal I had was to improve my English skills. I felt that immersion in an English-speaking environment would be the best way to achieve this. I was also interested in learning more about American history and culture, and I thought your house would be the perfect place to do that.

Lastly, I wanted to have some fun and relax. I had been working very hard lately and needed some time to recharge my batteries. I knew that your family is very hospitable and that I would be able to do all of these things and more while I was staying with you.

I’m happy to say that I was able to accomplish all of these goals and more during my time with you. I had a great time getting to know you and your family better, and I learned a lot about your culture and how you live your lives. I also improved my English skills and gained a better understanding of American history and culture. And, of course, I had a lot of fun and was able to relax and recharge my batteries.

I want to thank you for providing me with such a great opportunity to accomplish all of these things. I enjoyed my time with you immensely and I will never forget the experience.

What did you think I would do when you came to my house? I would hope that you would come in, sit down, and make yourself comfortable. We would then have a nice conversation, catching up on old times and shared memories. Perhaps we would even share a meal or watch a movie together.

It would pain me greatly if you came to my house and simply turned around and left without even saying hello. Or, even worse, if you came in and immediately started to criticize everything about my home and lifestyle. I have worked hard to create a warm and inviting space for myself and my guests, and it would be troubling if you didn't appreciate it.

If you came to my house and didn't like something, I would want you to tell me. I would want to know why you didn't like it and if there was anything I could do to change your mind. However, I would also hope that you would be respectful of my choices and not try to force your own preferences on me.

I'm sure you thought I would say something along the lines of "What are you doing here?" or "Why are you here?" or something else along those lines. And to be honest, those would have been perfectly valid questions to ask. After all, you did just show up at my house unannounced and without any explanation.

But instead of asking any of those questions, I found myself saying something completely different. I said "I'm glad you're here." And I meant it.

I'm glad you came to my house because it means you were thinking about me. It means you wanted to see me and spend time with me. And that's something I really appreciate.
