Who Was Jesus Grandfather?

Jesus' grandfather's wife was named Mary. In the Bible, Jesus is referred to as the "son of Mary" (e.g. Mark 6:3), so it is reasonable to assume that his grandfather's wife was also named Mary. Abraham, the father of Isaac and the grandfather of Jesus, died at the ripe old age of 175 years old. The Bible doesn't give us many details about the circumstances of his death, but we do know that he died peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his loved ones.

We can only imagine what a rich and full life Abraham must have lived. He was, after all, the first man to ever be chosen by God to enter into a special covenant relationship with Him.
