The UBS Luminary Fellowship Program is a unique opportunity for individuals to grow and develop their skills.

The program is designed for entrepreneurs and innovators who are looking to scale their businesses and make a positive impact on society.

Part of the program includes access to a global network of like-minded individuals who can provide support and guidance.

This network is made up of successful entrepreneurs and innovators who have been through similar experiences.

What We Focus On

We focus on empowering women of color who are entrepreneurs, specifically those who own or have founded businesses.

More than 5.4 million businesses in the US are majority-owned by women of color, employing over 2.1 million people and generating roughly $361 billion in revenues annually.

These businesses are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs in the US, but they face significant challenges, including lack of capital and funding, racial biases, and limited representation.

The UBS x Luminary Fellowship Program is designed to address these challenges by providing access to a global community, introductions, workshops, coaching, mentoring, and business resources for growth.

Fellows also receive best-in-class thought leadership and insights from UBS, including access to the UBS Women’s Wealth and Business Owners platforms and accompanying educational content.

The UBS x Luminary Fellowship Program is a collaborative effort between UBS and Luminary, a collaboration hub for women based out of New York City.

The program aims to support businesses owned by women of color, which have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic.

55 fellowships will be awarded to deserving candidates, providing them with the resources they need to weather the storm.

The application process is open now through October 30, and selected candidates will be announced on November 6.

The fellowships will continue through the end of 2021, offering a comprehensive support system to the recipients.

Fellowship winners will gain access to workshops, coaching, and mentoring opportunities at Luminary, as well as support from UBS's Business Owner's and Strategic Women's Client Segments.

The program is led by a team of experienced mentors and advisors who provide guidance and support to the fellows. These mentors have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various fields, including finance, technology, and social impact.

Each fellow receives a stipend of $100,000 to support their entrepreneurial endeavors. This funding can be used to cover living expenses, travel costs, and other business-related expenses.

The fellowship program is highly competitive, with only a select few individuals chosen to participate each year. The selection process is rigorous, with applicants undergoing a thorough evaluation of their business plans and pitches.

The Luminary Fellowship is a 12-month program that provides fellows with access to a global network of entrepreneurs, investors, and thought leaders. This network can be a valuable resource for connecting with potential partners, customers, and mentors.
