About Us

We're a non-profit foundation controlled by trade unions and employers from the healthcare and social work sectors.

Our history dates back to 1969 when our predecessor, PGGM, was founded through the merger of several smaller Dutch pension funds in the healthcare industry.

We've been serving the healthcare and social work sectors in the Netherlands since 1970, when PGGM assumed responsibility for employees' pensions.

In 1972, we moved to our current headquarters in Zeist, Netherlands.

Our governing board made a significant change in 2006, separating our policy and implementation functions, which took effect in January 2008.
