Point72 is expanding its office space in Manhattan.

The company plans to lease over 175,000 square feet across six floors at 55 Hudson Yards, a 51-story office tower set to open in 2018.

This will provide space for about 700 employees, more than doubling the current capacity of Point72's two Midtown buildings.

The new offices will be located a mile apart from the current buildings, at 510 and 330 Madison Ave.

Point72's Stamford headquarters will remain unaffected by the expansion, and Stamford employees will still be able to work in the new Manhattan offices.
