How to Deposit Checks with FMB Mobile App
To deposit a check with the FMB Mobile App, simply log in and select the "+" and "Deposit" options. You'll then need to endorse the check with your signature, "For First Metro Bank Mobile Deposit Only", and your deposit account number.
Make sure these three items are on the check, or it won't be approved for deposit. I've seen people get stuck because they forgot to add the account number!
To take a photo of the check, choose "Front" and then "Back" to capture both sides. The first time you do this, you might need to allow your camera to be used with the app.
Next, select "Deposit To" to choose which account you want to deposit the check into. This should match the number you wrote on the back of the check.
You'll also need to type in the deposit amount and enter an email address to receive your receipt. Finally, click "Continue" and approve the deposit.
