The Journey Band Credit Card lawsuit is a class-action lawsuit that was filed against Journey, the American rock band, and several other defendants, including Bank of America, N.A. and Journey's management company, Journey Management, Inc.

The lawsuit alleges that Journey and the other defendants engaged in deceptive and unfair practices by marketing and selling a credit card with Journey's name and logo, without properly disclosing the terms and conditions of the credit card.

The credit card in question, called the Journey Card, was marketed and sold to consumers through various channels, including Journey's website and social media pages.

Consumers who were sold the Journey Card are now seeking damages and other relief for alleged violations of various state and federal laws, including the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure (CARD) Act.

Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain is suing guitarist Neal Schon over excessive spending on tour, which has led to toxic divisions within the band.

Cain alleges that Schon has blown past a $1,500-per-night hotel fee cap and maxed out an American Express card with a $1 million limit.

The lawsuit claims that Schon has also unilaterally chartered private jets and hired a close friend as unnecessary extra security.

Schon's wife, Michaele Ann Schon, is not a named respondent in the lawsuit, but many of the allegations against Schon involve her.

Cain's petition in Delaware's Chancery Court concerns the management of Freedom 2020 Inc., a business he founded with Schon in 2021 to oversee the band's touring-related assets.

Each of them allegedly owns half of the company and serves on its two-seat board.

The lawsuit says that the deadlock between Cain and Schon has begun interfering with routine day-to-day operations, leading to divided loyalties.

This has made it virtually impossible to run the business, with one director often terminating an employee or crew member, only for the other director to rehire them hours or days later.

The excessive spending and tense relationship with certain vendors have led to "unforeseen strains on cash flow" that pose a severe threat to the company and Journey's history of musical greatness.

Cain is represented by Fox Rothschild LLP, while Schon was represented in the earlier case by SF Firm LLP.
