The Jeannette fire Gofundme campaign has been a beacon of hope for the survivors of the devastating fire that ravaged the town. Over $100,000 was raised to help those affected.

Many residents were left without homes or belongings, and the campaign aimed to support their immediate needs. The funds were used to provide essential items like food, clothing, and toiletries.

The community came together to support the survivors, with local businesses and individuals contributing to the cause. This outpouring of support helped to alleviate some of the financial burdens on those affected.

As the community continues to rebuild, the Gofundme campaign remains a vital resource for those in need.

Support for Survivors

The community of Jeannette has come together to support the survivors of the devastating fire that killed five people and injured two others.

Organizers have set up a GoFundMe account that has raised over $70,000 to help the family.

A public vigil was held at St. Bruno Catholic Church of South Greensburg, where money was raised for the family through a fish fry.

The community has also organized a fundraiser at the American Legion in Jeannette, which will include a memorial service, performances from local bands, food trucks, and raffles.

Donations will be accepted at the door, and all proceeds will go directly to the family.

The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and says they're amazed by the community's generosity.

The Jeannette Midget Athletic Association has also gotten involved, with its president saying that the motto of the organization is "we not me", and they wanted to make sure the family had whatever they needed.

The total donations for the victims of the Jeannette fire have surpassed $250,000, with over $110,000 donated to a fund at Elliott Federal Credit Union.

A second GoFundMe account for a neighboring family affected by the fire has raised over $20,000.

Checks can be made payable to the credit union with "Jeannette Area Disaster Fund" written in the memo line, and can be deposited at various locations across the county.
