How to Decline Apple Cash and Close Your Account

If you've decided that Apple Cash isn't for you, don't worry, it's easy to decline and close your account.

To start, you'll need to open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap on the Apple Cash card.

You can then tap on the "Decline" option to cancel your Apple Cash account.

Declining your Apple Cash account will also cancel any pending transactions, so you don't have to worry about any outstanding payments.

Once you've declined your account, you'll receive an email confirmation from Apple.

You can also close your Apple Cash account by visiting the Settings app on your iPhone and tapping on "Wallet & Apple Pay".

To confirm that you want to cancel Apple Pay, you'll need to enter your Apple ID password. This is a security measure to prevent accidental cancellations.

Once you've confirmed, your Apple Pay card will be removed from your device.

Closing Apple Cash Account

Closing your Apple Cash account is a straightforward process, but it requires a few steps to ensure everything is in order. Make sure your balance is $0 before proceeding.

To check your balance, go to your card info. You can also transfer money to your bank, spend it, or send it to someone. If your balance is not $0, you'll need to take care of that first.

Once your balance is $0, contact Apple to close your account. This will stop any recurring payments you've set up.

To reject Apple Pay Cash, you need to open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap on Apple Pay Cash, then tap on the (i) button.

If you want to reject the payment, you'll need to tap on the payment you want to reject.

Your bank or card issuer will refund the money by the next business day.

To confirm the rejection, tap on Reject Payment.
