How much of a Marvel fan am I? Well, that's a tough question to answer definitively. Let me start by saying that I'm definitely a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having seen all the films to date and generally enjoying them quite a lot. Similarly, when it comes to the animated Marvel shows such as The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and Ultimate Spider-Man, as well as Agents of SHIELD and Daredevil on Netflix, then I'm definitely hooked on all those too.

However, when it comes to being an avid comic book reader then my enthusiasm is vastly diminished; the vast amount of back-story for characters and so forth has often put me off picking them up in any kind of quantity – although I certainly do enjoy sitting down with collected editions from time-to-time. Additionally, with regards to superheroes who are not from Marvel (such as Batman from DC Comics), then once again my loyalty drops off drastically -- although there are some exceptions (for example Batman begins is one of my favourite superhero movies).

Overall then my love for marvel can perhaps best be summed up by saying that while I appreciate its various movie/TV incarnations very much so: at heart really prolific comic book reader – but nonetheless passionate nonetheless!

What is your favorite Marvel movie?

My favorite Marvel movie has to be Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). I was already a fan of the first movie, and what impressed me most about this sequel is how much further it took the central themes. It explored new concepts yet remained true to its amazing cast of characters that made me laugh and cry throughout both films.

The storyline was engaging, exciting and hilarious at times; plus they managed to introduce even more characters while advancing story arcs effectively. Furthermore, James Gunn’s work as director brought plenty of visual flair with some extraordinary special effects. Groot has always been one my all-time favorite screen creatures – and for good reason! His heartfelt performance inGuardians 2 really brings a special magic to this sci-fi fantasy franchise, often acting as emotional core which ties back into its overall themes around family bonds.

So that's why Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 stands out for me: it never cracked under pressure from its predecessor or from within itself – instead it evolved in all sorts of marvellous ways!

How often do you read Marvel comics?

I've been a lifelong Marvel comics fan, and as such I try to get my hands on every issue they put out! While it's impossible for me to read every issue on the day it's released, I strive to do my best by following release schedules to make sure I don't miss any big events.

My typical reading practice is usually one or two issues per week depending on what has recently debuted in stores. I'll pour over each issue for an hour or two and jot down any interesting revelations about characters, relationships, events and stories that resonate with me. My weekly goal isn't necessarily seeing everything Marvel puts out but more focusing on single lines of titles so that I can appreciate the individual storylines at a deeper level.

That said, I try not to let myself get too bogged down with days-old news either. If there's something exciting coming up—a new character reveal or a much-anticipated story arc—I'll go back and reread prior issues where necessary just so I'm up-to-date when new issues hit the shelves; it helps keep my enthusiasm going strong!

So while some weeks may consist of reading more than others due to some noteworthy event in the Marvel universe, overall you can expect that no matter how much time passes between visits to my local comic book shop you will always find me flipping through stacks of Marvel goodness!

Broaden your view: Why Am I Zoning Out so Much?

How long have you been a Marvel fan?

For me, being a Marvel fan goes back many years. I remember first getting into the Marvel universe in my early teens when I enthusiastically devoured the comic books and movies of the time. It felt like becoming part of something bigger than myself – a world of heroes striving for justice and protecting society from evil forces such as Doctor Doom, Red Skull or Loki.

Inspired by these fantastic characters, I soon became hooked on collecting Marvel comics as well as memorabilia such as action figures or pins. Though my enthusiasm cooled off during college and university years, it stayed with me all this time. My love for the Marvel universe was reignited again when Disney's MCU began its impressive run at box office with Iron Man in 2008 and never looked back since then!

Despite not necessarily buying all new releases anymore–I no longer have enough spare shelf space to keep up with a growing comic book collection–I remain an avid fan of everything that is related to Marvel's ever-expanding universe of stories, characters and settings spread across numerous media platforms including film franchises leading up to 2019’s Avengers: Endgame which stands (at least so far) at #1 on Box Office Mojo's all-time list chart!

To sum it all up then: I've been around long enough to remember catching glimpses of Stan Lee’s cameos throughout various projects; my enthusiasm was present during The Infinity Saga; witnessed major pivotal moments from Wolverine from Japan before Avengers: Infinity War; watched Black Panther make history; eagerly anticipated WandaVision episodes each week...and so much more over almost 2 decades now - making me a proud super hero fan who has loved watching these characters come alive ever since!

Who is your favorite Marvel character?

My favorite Marvel character is Black Panther, also known as King T'Challa. He is the monarch of Wakanda, a fictional African country and one of the most technologically advanced nations on Earth.

Black Panther commands a superior intellect and has vast financial resources at his disposal, making him an extremely formidable opponent for any villain or force he may face. On top of that, he is an unparalleled acrobat and athlete as well as being trained in various martial arts and weaponry. His powers also include superhuman senses, speed, strength and reflexes – plus claws that can cut through almost anything!

But what really sets him apart is his leadership skills. With an unyielding belief in justice and honor even when faced with extreme odds or when other leaders would falter, Black Panther leads with courage boldness and intelligence both on the battlefields of Wakanda and off them too. It's no wonder why he is one of the characters that Marvel showcases more than others - he embodies our human values while still being fierce enough to take on any threat head-on!

What is the most interesting Marvel story arc you've read?

The most interesting Marvel story arc I've read is definitely "House of M". This compelling storyline was created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artists Olivier Coipel and Richard Bennett. The story focuses on Scarlet Witch, as a result of a powerful spell cast by her father Magneto, creates an alternate reality in which mutants are the dominant race. As part of this new world order, familiar faces like Spider-Man and Wolverine have drastically different roles.

The series features several twists and surprises including the return of many beloved characters from past storylines such as Captain America who is revealed to be alive in this universe despite his death in the mainstream universe. Additionally, Doctor Strange plays an important role in battling against Wanda's creation, conjuring powerful magical shields that prevent other heroes from interfering with her magic construct.

Not only does House of M feature great action sequences but also several major implications for future stories in both the Marvel Universe and X-Men franchise—such as Wanda's children being born deformed due to her hexes that permanently alter mutants’ genes across all realities. The repercussions were felt long after House of M concluded making it one of the most impactful Marvel storylines yet!

Do you plan on attending a Marvel convention in the future?

I can honestly say I have never thought of attending a Marvel convention in the future, but after learning more about them I'm definitely interested. Marvel conventions are a fun and unique way to celebrate the comic book world, and they feature all kinds of panels, costumes, celebrities and even exclusive merchandise. It's an exciting event that fans of Marvel comics would truly appreciate!

I would love to attend one of these conventions as they provide many opportunities to engage in activities related to the comics. There are amazing panels conducted by industry professionals that discuss various topics related to the characters and stories. In addition, attendees have an opportunity to interact with other “geeks” who share their passion for the brand, find out about upcoming releases or meet cosplayers dressed up as their favorite superhero.

Moreover, with all those exclusive merchandise available at various stands, it would be impossible not to resist buying souvenirs or memorabilia from your favourite franchise or series! I am hoping that in future circumstances allow me so attend such an event because it is definitely something I want to experience for myself firsthand.
