Chili's is one of the many popular restaurants that now accept Tap to Pay, a convenient payment method that allows you to pay with just a tap of your phone.

This feature is available at many Chili's locations nationwide, making it easier than ever to grab a bite to eat on the go.

To use Tap to Pay at Chili's, simply open the app, select the payment method, and tap your phone to the payment terminal.

Does Chili's Accept Tap to Pay

Chili's is leading the casual dining industry in restaurant technology adoption and the creation of a digital guest experience.

More than seven out of 10 people choose to pay on the Ziosk tablet when dining in a Chili's restaurant, with mobile payment delivering the speed, convenience, and security that are clearly important to today's guest.

The brand currently has the largest tabletop tablet network in the country and will be at the forefront of mobile payment when Apple Pay is supported on Ziosk.

Guests can use Apple Pay by simply holding their iPhone near the tablet's contactless reader while keeping a finger on Touch ID, or, when using Apple Watch, double-clicking the side button and holding the face up to the reader.

A subtle vibration and beep will let the guest know the payment is accepted and verified.

Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay, with the actual card numbers not stored on the device or on Apple servers, instead using a unique Device Account Number that's encrypted and securely stored in the Secure Element on the device.

Other Restaurants with Tap to Pay

Starbucks is already on board with Apple Pay, and will start allowing customers to pay for their beverages with just a tap of their iPhone or Apple Watch.

The service will be available at all 7,500 Starbucks in the U.S. by next year, with pilot tests running at selected stores over the next few months.

Chili's restaurants have also signed up with the Apple Pay program, allowing people to conduct transactions at their tables with their iPhones using Apple Pay.

KFC will start accepting Apple Pay transactions by next spring, expanding Apple Pay's reach to new demographics.
