Can You Scan Other Peoples Receipts for Fetch?

Many people use the app Fetch to scan their receipts and get points that can be redeemed for gift cards. But can you scan other people's receipts for fetch?

It turns out that you can! According to the Fetch FAQ, you can scan up to 10 receipts per day from other people. So if you have a big family or a bunch of friends who also use Fetch, you can help them out by scanning their receipts for them.

Of course, there are some limitations. You can only scan receipts from the same store as you. So if you're at Target, you can't scan a receipt from Walmart. And you can only scan receipts that are less than two weeks old.

But other than that, there's no reason why you couldn't scan other people's receipts for fetch. So if you're feeling generous, why not offer to help out your friends and family by scanning their receipts for them?

There are a few key things to look for when determining which receipts are eligible for scanning. First, look for a QR code or barcode on the receipt. This code can be scanned by most smartphone apps and will allow you to track the purchase. Secondly, check the date on the receipt. Receipts that are too old may not be eligible for scanning. Finally, check the total amount of the purchase. Some apps have a minimum amount that must be met in order for the receipt to be scanned.

If you lose or misplace a receipt that you've scanned, you may not be able to get a refund or exchange for the item. The store may not be able to find your purchase in their system if you don't have the physical receipt. You may be able to get a duplicate receipt from the store if you paid by credit card, but it will likely be for the current price of the item, not the price you paid.
