If you're having trouble accessing your Bank of America online banking account, you're not alone. Many users have reported experiencing a Bofa connection error.

This error can be frustrating, especially if you're trying to pay bills or check your account balance. It's not just a minor glitch, but a serious issue that can prevent you from accessing your account.

The error is often caused by a technical issue with the Bank of America website.

Bank of America Service Issues

Bank of America customers have been experiencing service issues, with some reporting problems accessing their funds online.

Over 18,000 user-reported outages were tracked by Downdetector on Wednesday afternoon.

A message on the Bank of America app states, "Accounts Temporarily Unavailable. Some accounts and/or balances are temporarily unavailable."

Customers took to social media platforms like X and Reddit to ask what was happening with their funds. One Reddit user warned others to "screenshot your latest transactions in case the bank tries to short you."

Bank of America's help account on X responded to customers who had tweeted about the app being down, urging people to send a DM with additional details and personal information.

Customers have reported issues accessing their accounts and balance information since January 2023, when they complained about money missing from deposits and Zelle transactions.

Some clients are experiencing an issue accessing their accounts and balance information today, but Bank of America says these issues are being addressed and have largely been resolved.
