Ashneer Grover to Re-Enter Fintech with ZeroPe

Ashneer Grover is getting back into the fintech scene with a new app called ZeroPe.

The app will offer instant pre-approved medical loans of up to Rs 5 lakhs.

ZeroPe is still in testing mode, and it's being developed by Third Unicorn, a company founded by Grover after he left BharatPe.

In partnership with Delhi-based NBFC Mukut Finvest, the service can only be availed at partnered hospitals.

Grover's entry into fintech is just one of many businesses offering instant financing solutions for medical bills and other elective treatments.

Ashneer Grover's Fall

Ashneer Grover, the co-founder of BharatPe, stepped down as the MD and CEO of the company in April 2022.

He was ousted after a series of controversies and disagreements with other investors.

The allegations against him included misusing company funds and creating a toxic work environment.

BharatPe's board of directors had been investigating these allegations since January 2022.

The investigation led to Grover's exit from the company, marking a significant fall from his position as a prominent fintech entrepreneur.
