If you belong to one of those banks, you can find a ZellePay option integrated into your bank's mobile app, allowing you to send money directly to and from your bank account, without having to wait for your money to be processed on Venmo's network.

Manual Verification on Mobile Devices
To start the manual verification process on your phone or tablet, open the Venmo app, which is usually a light blue icon with a bold, white V on your home screen or in the app drawer.
You'll need to tap the Me icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen. From there, tap the gear icon at the top-right corner to expand the menu.
Next, tap Payment Methods near the top of the menu, then select Add a bank or card. This is where you'll start the process of adding your Bank of America account to Venmo.
To manually verify your bank account, select Bank as the first option in the menu, then tap Verify bank manually instead underneath the blue "Next" button.
You'll need to enter your bank account details, which you can find on a check. Once you've done this, tap Save and Continue at the bottom of the form.

After that, check your recent bank transactions in 1-3 business days for two small deposits from Venmo. These deposits will be less than $1.
Once you've located the deposits, go to venmo.com/verifybank in a web browser on your phone, computer, or tablet. Sign in with your Venmo credentials to access the verification page.
On this page, enter the two deposit amounts as requested. Once Venmo confirms these amounts, your bank account will be validated and ready to use.
