The Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program is a fantastic opportunity for students interested in public policy. This program provides financial assistance to rising college juniors and seniors.

To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen or current U.S. resident and a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. You should also demonstrate a commitment to the public policy profession and exhibit leadership and be active within the community.

The application process involves submitting a 2-part online application, which must be completed by 11:59 pm ET by the deadline. You'll need to provide a Personal Statement Response, a Video Response, and two Letters of Recommendation.

Here are the key requirements for the Personal Statement Response:

* What makes you interested in the public policy profession and how has your personal experience prepared you for a career in public policy? (500 word maximum)

You'll also need to provide a Video Response to a question prompt, which should not exceed 5 minutes. The prompt is: Ally is committed to reducing barriers to economic mobility and fostering financial and social inclusion. Explain how your prior experiences and your pursuit of a career in public policy aligns with these goals.

In addition to the online application, you'll need to upload a legible copy of your current transcript in a PDF file and a resume in a PDF file listing your employment, community service, academic information, extracurricular activities, honors, and special skills.
